Police Scotland

Police Scotland was established on 1 April 2013 and is responsible for policing across the whole of Scotland, some 28,168 square miles, covering a third of the United Kingdom’s landmass with a unique range of urban, rural, island and remote communities.

It is the second largest force in the UK with 22,000 officers and staff working together for the people of Scotland.

Our purpose is to improve the safety and wellbeing of people, places and communities in Scotland, focusing on Keeping People Safe in line with our values of integrity, fairness and respect and with human rights at the heart of everything we do.

Key Accountabilities Undertake general clerical duties including handling telephone enquiries, diary management, photocopying, distribution of mail and correspondence processing (which may in some cases  include material of a sensitive, high risk or specialist nature). Input, update and retrieve data from computerised systems, databases and files, and fulfil general housekeeping responsibilities. Receive, record, secure and return Digital Forensic productions through end to end processes. Provide general typing and meeting support services including agenda preparation, collation of papers, minute and note taking. Assist in the administration of financial and HR systems including, but not limited to, the  processing of invoices, cash handling, banking, absence management, PDR, in accordance with force policies and procedures.
