Digital Forensics Operations Manager (Managed Services) – Perm Role available in South London - £40,000 to £60,000 per annum plus company benefits

Digital forensics has become a significant part of investigative process and helps investigators obtain evidence from the digital footprint left by criminals.

 

RSR Police are working in partnership with Mass, a technology company with over 35-year heritage serving Defence, Law Enforcement and Government agencies nationwide.  MASS offers a fully integrated digital forensics services formed around a three tiered approach that provides operational benefits to frontline officers to include, self-service forensic analysis, specialist technical support and governance.  

 

To maintain an effective delivery service for digital forensics we are recruiting a Digital Forensics Operations Manager (Managed Services). Based in South London, on the customer premises you will be managing an on-site team, lead and take responsibility for the management, maintenance and development of the contract. This will include managing the supply chain consisting of software vendors, DF lab service providers and academia, ensuring that important operational activity is supported.

 

Key Skills

  • Knowledge of digital forensics with the associated standards and governance.
  • Software – Awareness of Digital Forensics Tools - Understands investigative techniques and the link between people, processes and technology in such an environment
  • Knowledge of ISO 17025 requirements and other standards in relation to Forensic Science
  • Stakeholder Management experience with the ability to communicate at all levels in the customer organisation
  • APMP, Prince 2 - Proven track record of delivery of IT services
  • ICT or Research & Development technical background
