The Purpose of the Role:

An eDiscovery Consultant is responsible for providing consultancy services to the Litigation practice and the wider business practice groups, where these services are applicable. This role requires the person to have a well-rounded experience of all areas of an eDiscovery service offering.


Key Relationships:

Function as part of the firm’s global eDiscovery team to facilitate best practices and share knowledge

Build and manage relationships with all eDiscovery stakeholders including onsite lawyers, Legal Services Centre members, and work within Advanced Delivery and Solutions teams

Establish and maintain contacts from across the firm’s business functions to help facilitate team objectives


Role & Responsibilities:

  • Deliver the highest standard of eDiscovery services to the firm’s internal and external clients
  • Possess advanced knowledge of the entire EDRM
  • Manage and maintain efficient and defensible document review workflows
  • Instruct third-party service providers regarding collection and review of client data
  • Create and maintain internal and external marketing materials including brochures, case studies and whitepapers
  • Develop and deliver training modules/sessions for education of internal and external parties/clients/stakeholders
  • Coordinate responses to RFPs including development of answer “library”
  • Gather market intelligence
  • Compile/synopsise eDiscovery-related case law from relevant jurisdictions
  • Facilitate continuous improvement with the collection and analysis of formal and informal feedback
