Job Description

As a new member in our VTRAC (Verizon Threat Research Advisory Center) Team, you will work directly with a team of consultants in APAC/Worldwide in order to successfully delivering/leading global investigative response engagements in VTRAC portfolio for Verizon Enterprise Solutions.

Based in Tokyo, you will be in charge of sound consulting, technical, documentation and some pre-sales skills in the Information Security especially Digital Forensics and Investigative Response.

Position Responsibilities

  • Commands expert experience in Information Security consulting and has served medium/large enterprises for security consulting services successfully
  • Has good hands-on knowledge of Incident Response and Digital Forensics fundamentals
  • Possesses experience on supporting pre-sales work along with sales team while working on proposal development and effort estimations for new opportunities
  • Ensures correct and timely delivery of consulting projects for Verizon’s customers
  • Shows continued self-improvement in the product discipline to further understand industry, and products
  • Effectively manages communication and administrative activities through the delivery of high quality and informative content on any requested report or any deal specific updates requested by management

Requirements

  • Native or fluent level Japanese and business level English.
  • B.E/B.Tech/MBA/MCA Degree preferred with 6+ years of Information Security consulting experience (at least 3-5 years of this experience should be in the Investigative Response/Digital Forensics field doing hands-on work)
  • Ability to coach, mentor and train others within Verizon and have the ability to educate the customer on the benefits of a proposed solution
  • Either of CISSP/CISM/CISA certification is desirable
  • CHFI/GCFA/GCIH/EnCE certification is highly desirable
  • Proven ability to lead cross-functional teams and ensure cohesive efforts toward a shared goal
  • Must have skills and knowledge to allow for successful prioritization of multiple projects and the ability to clearly communicate project requirements/timelines
  • Individual will possess strong written and oral skills and demonstrated ability to work in complex sales environments, utilizing resources across multiple organizations to achieve sales results
  • Must be able to travel 20% - 30%
