Job Description

Key Accountabilities

  1. Undertake general clerical duties including handling telephone enquiries, diary management, photocopying, distribution of mail and correspondence processing (which may in some cases  include material of a sensitive, high risk or specialist nature).
  2. Input, update and retrieve data from computerised systems, databases and files, and fulfil general housekeeping responsibilities.
  3. Receive, record, secure and return Digital Forensic productions through end to end processes.
  4. Provide general typing and meeting support services including agenda preparation, collation of papers, minute and note taking.
  5. Assist in the administration of financial and HR systems including, but not limited to, the  processing of invoices, cash handling, banking, absence management, PDR, in accordance with force policies and procedures.
  6. Prepare statistical information from the Cyber Crime Management System (Nimbus) to the Digital Forensics Team Leader.
  7. Assist in the ordering, stock control and monitoring of divisional stationery, services and supplies (which may include making travel arrangements) as directed by the Business Support Team Leader.
  8. Assist in the maintenance of asset inventories and help co-ordinate the maintenance of divisional facilities and resources.
  9. Carry out any other reasonable duties commensurate with the role as required by line management.
  10. Will be responsible for assessing and self-managing risk within all aspects of the role.

Educational/Occupational Essential
• Educated to Standard Grade level or equivalent.
• Where no formal qualifications exist, proven clerical experience in an office environment.
Special Aptitudes Essential
• IT literate with the ability to work with a variety of databases.
